The Silicon Valley Impact Camp is an intensive program designed to take your impact-driven project from ideation to a first concept.

The program provides you with the necessary knowledge, coaching, network and methodologies to help you bring your project to life and delivers an official UC Berkeley SCET certificate for the successful completion of the Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship.

The program is designed for student entrepreneurs or aspiring student entrepreneurs willing to develop a positive impact project. Students from all around the world can apply!

At Schoolab, we believe in transitions. The core of your project can have a positive impact just as we can help you develop the impact dimension of your project.

The Silicon Valley Impact Camp is a project-based program. Ideally, applicants already have a project they want to develop. However, it is possible for nominees to find their idea and validate them in accordance with the instructors during the digital onboarding phase.

To apply to the program, you can fill in the application form available directly on this web page available at the tab “join the program”.
Your application will then be reviewed and if your profile matches the program requirements, you will be invited to an individual interview. The final selection of candidates will be announced in early February for batch 1 and in early March for batch 2.

The program is in person in Berkeley starting the 5th of July to the 4th of August 2023.
The presence of participants is required in person in Berkeley during that period. It is possible to follow the digital onboarding phase remotely from anywhere in the world.

Yes, you will receive an official UC Berkeley SCET Certificate for the successful completion of the Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship.

The program takes place in 3 different phases:

  • Digital Onboarding: May 2023
  • Kick Off Hackathon: July 5th and 6th 2023
  • Four weeks of classes: July 10th to August 4th 2023

The program costs $5,500 and includes:

– The official certificate from UC Berkeley SCET.
– Access to the digital platform and, its resources and content.
– The Kick-Off Hackathon.
– 4 weeks of accompaniment with workshops, visits, coaching, speaker panels, training…

It is absolutely possible for 2 or more participants to join the program and work together on their joint project.

However, all participants must pay the program fee.

It is our priority to give the right tools and support to our participants throughout the program. Coaches and Impact Experts are available and can be reached at anytime during the program to provide advice and feedback.

The Silicon Valley Impact Camp program is dedicated and designed for student entrepreneurs or aspiring student entrepreneurs. It is necessary to be a student to participate in the program.

It is possible to apply for the program during the second application batch. However, the seats available for this session will be within the limit of the seats remaining after the first selection batch. It is recommended to apply during the first session to have more chances to be selected.

Your presence in Berkeley will be requested starting July 5th 2023.

Yes, you will need to prepare for the trip, as logistical details are not managed by Schoolab.

As a result you will need to prepare :
– Housing accommodation
– ESTA application
– Medical insurance to cover your trip
– Booking for the flight ticket
